At its heart, QUILL represents the art of storytelling, elegant, intentional, and lasting.
Before keyboards and templates, there was the quill, a tool that required patience, care, and precision. Every stroke mattered. Every word carried meaning.
That spirit inspired me to create QUILL, a more professional, refined, and personal approach to résumé writing and career storytelling. Just as ink flows from a quill, your experiences, values, and goals flow into a narrative that is uniquely yours.
Here, every project is handled with the same attention to detail that once went into crafting letters by hand: deliberate, graceful, and human. Your story deserves to be written with intention and delivered with impact.

My Story
I started my career at the age of seventeen, ambitious, curious, and ready to take on more. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to help others. Along the way, I was fortunate to have incredible mentors who guided, challenged, and helped me grow both personally and professionally. Their example inspired me to do the same for others.
After a twenty-year career in the travel industry, everything changed in 2021 when the pandemic brought the world to a halt. Many of my friends and colleagues suddenly found themselves out of work, and I began helping them rebuild. I reviewed résumés, optimized LinkedIn profiles, and coached them through interviews. What started as a way to support my community quickly grew into something bigger — a calling.
I became a certified résumé writer and, from there, launched JD Resumes on International Women’s Day, March 2021. My original logo featured a quill and the tagline Professionally Optimized. The business took off quickly, built entirely through word of mouth and personal referrals. Then life shifted, and I had to pause.
But as time passed, the spark never faded. I knew I wasn’t finished; I had simply been preparing for what was next. With renewed purpose and the strongest support network I’ve ever had, I decided to begin again.

That next chapter became JMora Resume Services, LLC, launched with a new tagline: The Art of Professional Storytelling. Under this brand, I expanded my offerings to include English–Spanish translation services, helping more people communicate their stories with confidence and clarity.
My work now spans across the Denver metro area, throughout the United States, and internationally — with clients in Australia, Canada, and Colombia. My business continued to grow through relationships, referrals, and shared success stories.
Most recently, while exhibiting at a conference surrounded by inspiring small, Latinx-owned businesses, I was reminded that there is always room to rise higher. That moment of inspiration became a turning point. I realized it was time to elevate once again and to refine not just what I do, but how I represent it.
And so, QUILL was born — built on craftsmanship, care, and timeless storytelling, with one simple mission: to help Ink your future.
The next step in my journey is to recertify as a professional résumé writer and earn my career coaching certification. My long-term goal is to continue helping people at every stage of their path — from students landing their first job to professionals navigating transitions to CEOs defining the next chapter of their careers.
